The things we perceive as noise comes from frequencies in our environment that enter our ears and are converted into intelligible sounds by our brains.
I have always been a firm believer that the sounds we encounter in our immediate environment play a large role in maintaining the integrity of our physiology.
Barry Manilow – I Write the Songs
If exposed to some sound frequencies, the body can potentially suffer physiological distress that can cause systemic disruption of health.
Exposure to other sound frequencies can potentially improve body chemistry.
“The healing power of music — lauded by philosophers from Aristotle and Pythagoras to Pete Seeger — is now being validated by medical research. It is used in targeted treatments for asthma, autism, depression and more, including brain disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy and stroke.” — NY Times
If a song sounds pleasing to your ears, it is likely good for you mentally, emotionally, and physiologically.
Music is a universal language understood by everyone. Music is powerful and it can heal your body!
