In 2023, Target List will make its world premiere. The film will be available from many online streaming platforms, DVDs, and who knows, possibly even some in-theater showings.

Most of the advertising costs and marketing efforts for our movie will be handled by the film’s distributor. However, the project’s creators are champing at the bit to get the word out about Target List right now.

We believe that this movie is so good and so important that we want to do additional advertising to help get people to become as excited about the film as we are.

Mad Wife Productions has spent a lot of money making this movie and continues to do so.

I am asking for people to help us raise additional funds so that we can increase the public’s awareness about Target List.

If you can afford to donate a few dollars we’d greatly appreciate the contributions. If you can not afford a monetary donation, maybe you could share our movie website with friends and acquaintances on your social media platforms.

Most importantly, be sure to watch the movie when it’s released next year.

We hope to have a movie trailer out later this September. Post-Production is a long and tedious process. The good news is that the film is in Los Angeles and getting better looking by the day!

Carp-e Diem is directed by MJ Palo and Andrew Arguello. The production stars Emily Sweet, Nick Josten, Jasmeet Baduwalla, Angela Barber, Lukas Silva, Holly Lorge, James H. Jackson, and Chris Thigpen.

Movie Update!

Target List is in the process of having its initial sound design installed. The next time I will have a chance to watch the film will be sometime in September or October. At that point, the movie should be about 70 percent complete.

Target List’s music score will be written into the production later this fall. The final post-production edits should be completed by the end of this year.

I will keep readers informed about the future release dates of posters and the movie’s trailer.

Target List will make its world premiere sometime in 2023. We are all very excited to share our film with everyone!

Target List Movie filming Reaches Halfway Point!

Target List, a feature film coming in 2023 is halfway through production. Filming began back on April 23rd and the cast and crew have been putting in twelve-hour days.

According to Mad Wife Productions, everything is going smoothly and on schedule.

It’s finally happening! The Target List movie is going into production this week. I am going to be on location in Reno, Nevada, and will be providing updates at NoFakeNews when I return.

THE LOGLINE:

“After announcing a ground-breaking cancer cure, two members of a research team are shot by an assassin. The remaining two researchers barely escape the attack only to find themselves framed for murder.“

UPDATES:

Lots of interesting things have been taking place behind the scenes already. The cast has completed their final rehearsals/table reads with the producer and director and are ready to begin filming.

THE PROPS:

The WAND instrument prop that will be used in the movie was designed using 3D copier technology. It’s currently being painted to look authentic. I have seen the unpainted prototype, and it looks pretty darn cool.

I believe the prop guns and suppressors (silencers) that will be used in the film were also created using 3D copiers.

We recently came up with the WAND Corporation logo that will be used in the film — it looks great.

SPECIAL FX (EFFECTS):

The movie’s director and producer communicated with me earlier this week and wanted my feedback on changing one of the film’s scenes.

Instead of killing off one of the characters with a gun prop, they proposed using a car explosion. I was all in on the proposal — so we’re going to be blowing up a car on the set. I think they will do this using CGI. My daughter has warned me several times not to get too close to the car. 😀

I am headed to the filming location and looking forward to the whole production process.

A Quick Update on The Target List Movie Production Schedule

In association with River Rose Productions, Mad Wife Productions has announced that auditions for The Target List movie will be held in December 2020.

The pilot movie (screenplay written by MJ Palo and John Reizer) is based on the 2019 novel by John Reizer and will be filmed in March 2021. The Target List will be released in the summer of 2021 on Amazon Prime.

We are fundraising for the pilot movie and looking for individuals interested in making small donations. Although we have already secured the necessary funding for this project, we continue to look for extra help to offset some of the film’s production expenses.

What is the story?
After announcing a ground-breaking cancer cure, two members of a research team are shot by an assassin. The remaining two researchers barely escape the attack only to find themselves framed for murder. Now they need to prove their innocence while running from both the police and the assassin hired to kill them by big pharma.

MJ started her film career as a screenwriter but quickly discovered her passion for directing and producing.  MJ has produced/directed several shorts and TV pilots, and two of her feature screenplays, Unhinged and The Ripple Effect, are currently in development.

Andrew Arguello  (director, cinematographer, editor) – Andrew has worked in the film industry for almost 10 years. He started his career with the Walt Disney Company, working in Florida and California. After leaving Disney to pursue independent filmmaking, Andrew started his own production company. Andrew’s goal is to create the highest quality narrative stories, and has been involved with projects from low budget indie projects to world-famous high budget projects. He has worked with Gary Baum (Will & Grace), James Burrows (Will & Grace), and John Ealer (Netflix’s Roman Empire) and on features such as “Desert Shadows,” TV series such as “No Virtue” and shorts such as “10 Syllables” to name a few.

Creator/writer:
John Reizer is a magna cum laude graduate of Sherman College of Chiropractic, a former associate professor of clinical sciences, and a practicing chiropractor for over 33 years. John has authored several novels. His most recent works are Plandemic, The Visitors, Aftermath, False Memory, The Homecoming, Frequency, and The Target List. He was also a co-executive producer of No Virtue season 1.
