Dr. John Reizer

I am featuring the documentary embedded in this post for two reasons. The first one is to show that the members of this modern-day primitive tribe (The Hadza People) who live in Northern Tanzania are immune to most bacterial microbes and parasites that would sicken and jeopardize most people’s lives. I wanted to discuss this phenomenon within the content of the post.

The second reason I published this video is to point out just how connected to the environment the Hadza tribesmen and women have become throughout their history.

Our modern civilization differs vastly from the Hadza, and I am in no way whatsoever insinuating that I would like to live like a primitive Hadza tribe member.

The central point of my essay is to show how environmental conditions and public health practices greatly influence human immunity and how modern medicine and pharmaceutical products have negatively affected humanity’s resistance to illnesses and ability to express health.

The Hadza, over time, have strengthened their immune systems to the point that they do not worry about handling animal feces or drinking water contaminated with animal waste. The Hadza do not often get infections when their wounds come into contact with everyday germs, or they encounter parasites.

How is it possible that such primitive people can stay healthy in an environment that you and I would succumb to relatively quickly?

The answer is that humans and other animals adapt to their environmental conditions through time.  The dirtier our environment is, the stronger our immune system will become. The more sterile our environment is, the weaker our immunity will be.

Some of the worst infections humans encounter are in the most sterile locations – hospitals! The cleaner the environment we find ourselves in, the more challenged our immunity will be.

Modern medicine has encouraged people to use disinfectants, hand sanitizers, antibiotic soaps, and many other products to protect us from germs. Our regular use of these products, along with our consumption of many prescription and nonprescription medications, has left humanity’s immunity ill-prepared for the immediate environment we find ourselves in.

In a nutshell, we have become the complete opposite of the Hadza people from an immunity standpoint. We have weakened our collective abilities to coexist with our immediate environment and have become disconnected from the natural stage where other animals seem to flourish.

Another side note regarding the video is that officialdom says the Hadza lived in their current location for 50,000 years and were discovered by members of modern society in 1874.

It seems as if modern society is always discovering something in the 1800s. With what we are uncovering regarding realm resets, I would argue with the timelines offered in the video. But regardless of the alleged timelines discussed, the video is intriguing and provides a window that offers us insight into another way human beings can interact with the realm they reside in.
