I am thinking no! 🙂
Does it make me a bad person if… I believe in dragon lore but don’t much care about dragon fantasy?
🙂👍
No doubt, John, from what I am reading and learning about in this Dracopedia Field Guide!
🙂👍
Lisa
Thanks for sharing all that, Lisa! 👍🙂
I seriously think that I am onto something with the dragons. 😂
John
Haha Haha! These depictions are all quite laughable, John. You gave me a chuckle for the day. 😄
And I was just browsing through a new book that came to my door today. It is entitled, “Dracopedia, Field Guide” by William O’ Conner.
Haha! Look what you have done to me! 😆
And I thought I’d share just a few words about one of the different types of dragons. There are, of course, many different types from all over the world. Both flight and flightless.
But I was intrigued by the Scandinavian Blue Dragon. I am mostly Scandinavian myself, and I like blue. 🙂
“The Scandinavian blue dragon nests and lives along the rocky coasts of the Scandinavian peninsula, which includes Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. The adequate rainfall, mild temperatures, high rugged cliffs overlooking the Norwegian Sea, fjords brimming with whales and cetaceans, and sparse human populations make this region the healthiest dragon habitat in the world.
The Scandinavian blue dragon has not posed much of a threat to humans despite living in close proximity for centuries. The dragon has been regarded by Scandinavian cultures as a creature of great magic and power and was particularly revered by early Nordic and Viking cultures. We visited the very impressive Hall of Dragons, a collection of dragon artifacts at the Bergen Academy of Natural Sciences. The Scandinavian people have revered and studied the dragon for centuries.”
I like this dragon, John. Maybe they are not all out to have us for lunch! 🤣
