The Case Against Water Fluoridation

Dr. John Reizer

Tap water from your local municipality contains sodium fluoride or the chemical hexafluorosilicic acid. The rationale for placing a fluoridating agent in public drinking water, according to most public health officials, is to lower the number of dental caries within the general population.

For many years, people have been arguing with local and state governments about whether fluoride in drinking water can harm the human body. In one corner, fluoride advocates point to the benefits of fluoridating water supplies. They claim people enjoy fewer cavities because local water companies add fluoride to their products at treatment facilities. In the other corner, outspoken individuals claim fluoride is a toxic substance that causes irreparable harm to human beings.

At the center of this controversy is an essential question that proponents of fluoride refuse to address. Why are people being medicated without first having a proper medical evaluation? There are plenty of angry citizens objecting to the outrageous policy of mass-medicating the general population.

According to the National Toxicology Program, fluoride can cause genetic damage and cancer in humans. There is also strong evidence that fluoride can have damaging effects on the brain. (Chioca LR, et al. (2007). European Journal of Pharmacology Oct 25; [Epub]

But you don’t have to be a medical researcher to know that fluoride is poison. Just pick up a tube of everyday toothpaste and read the warning message on the back of the product. It reads like this: “WARNING: Keep out of reach of children under 6. If you accidentally swallow more than used for brushing, seek professional help or contact a poison control center immediately.”

Some years back, I published an article on another website that discussed at length the possible dangers associated with human beings consuming fluoride.

Predictably, several Internet trolls immediately jumped on the site’s comment board and inundated the website with copy-and-paste posts allegedly originating from “peer-reviewed” studies. The research plastered all over that website, of course, defended the mainstream public health mindset that fluoride is a safe substance in appropriate concentrations, etc.

In almost every situation where I have written articles or released comments about the harmful effects associated with fluoride, amalgam fillings, and especially vaccinations, copied and pasted materials used to defend conventional paradigms magically appeared on the platform. The written words used by the posters to attack my position were almost always the same.

For example, a few years ago, I published a long comment about water fluoridation on a prominent website. Almost  immediately, a dentist wrote the following reply:

“The great 16th Century alchemist, Paracelsus said, ‘Every substance is a poison, and only the proper dose determines a poison from a cure.’

Then I received a similar reply to a different comment I posted on a different platform from another dentist, and he wrote practically the same thing:

“16th Century European doctor and alchemist, Paracelsus, stated it well: ‘All substances are poisons: there is none which is not a poison. The right dose differentiates a poison and a remedy.’”

I began realizing that these posters were working off the same script. The materials were pre-written along with the “peer-reviewed” research so that any dentist, doctor, or pretender could easily copy and paste them to a given website to defend the position in question being attacked. It is a brilliant strategy and demonstrates just how prepared the mainstream paradigm managers are to keep members of society locked inside the box regarding certain subjects.

In 2025, AI robots are undoubtedly executing these scripts defending officialdom.

There is no evidence adding fluoride to drinking water benefits human physiology in any way whatsoever. There is, however, extensive evidence that humans consuming this neurotoxin are doing damage to their overall health.

Many proponents of this dangerous fluoridation practice argue that in small doses, fluoride added to drinking water has no adverse effects on human neurophysiology. This claim is invalid because the neurotoxin fluoride accumulates in human bones and teeth. Fluoride is a toxic poison that can accumulate in the brain and nervous tissues over time (Pineal Gland).

“A meta-analysis of 27 cross-sectional studies of children exposed to fluoride in drinking water, mainly from China, suggests an average IQ decrement of about seven points in children exposed to raised fluoride concentrations.44 Confounding from other substances seemed unlikely in most of these studies. Further characterisation of the dose–response association would be desirable.” – The Lancet – 2/14/14

About Medical Research

Regardless of the number of “peer-reviewed” research pieces being copied and pasted on this website or any other alternative news platform, readers must realize that much scientific research is flawed and does not accurately represent the truth about the questions being examined.

There is a tremendous amount of bias in medical research due to the heavy influence that pharmaceutical companies have on institutions of higher learning and the federal government of the United States. This situation is fast becoming a severe problem for the scientific community, as was reported in 2012 in an article published in the Washington Post.

According to another article written and published in The Atlantic magazine, “Much of what medical researchers conclude in their studies is misleading, exaggerated, or flat-out wrong.”

A publication by the University of California at Berkeley reported, “Almost 75% of U.S. clinical trials in medicine are paid for by private companies.” With statistics like these, how can there ever be “peer-reviewed” research that is truly unbiased and representative of the truth regarding medicines and their effectiveness or ineffectiveness regarding human subjects?

In the cases of fluoride, Mercury, and vaccines, I have always found that it is probably better to rely on a little bit of common sense versus “peer-reviewed” research that often seems to defy logic.

I have a Berkey water filter, COMPLETE WITH fluoride filters, but sometimes I wonder… do the filters really work, or did I just buy into the “talk” and spend my money on filters that don’t do anything?
At the end of the day – it’s piece of mind, my piece of mind.

Yes, Lisa, Fluoride is not the beneficial chemical that it’s made out to be when discussing human health. It’s a poison and should be avoided by human beings!

Hey, it’s great to hear you’re getting back under the care of a good chiropractor. I believe that’s an excellent healthcare decision on your part. 👍🙂

I had found it interesting you chose this topic on flouride, John. I was looking up some information on it the other night. The reason being is because my new chiropractor who I saw last week was strongly recommending I drink a lot of water. She had given me a herbal remedy to take for detox and was strongly recommending that I drink a lot of water. But I told her that I do not drink tap water. I told her I drink a lot of coconut water, and she was okay with that. But she had also said to just drink a lot of water.

I think she could tell that I was a little defensive about the matter. And that is because I am aware of the evils of flouride in tap and many bottled varieties of water as well. However, I guess it is possible to get unflourided bottle water. But it costs more.

Anyway, I had my second appointment with this chiropractor Tuesday of this week. So, I asked her what she thought about the flouride, and she did agree that flouride was bad.

Overall I am impressed with my new chiropractor. She has a unique way of doing things. She is giving me hope. It’s not easy living day to day with pain from basically head to toe.

    Lisa

The following is some of the information I found on the evils of flouride.

The Falsification of History by John Hamer:

“Perhaps the most deadly of all poisons we are deliberately being forced to ingest, Flouride also comes complete with the biggest hype of these toxins by far.

There is actually no such chemical name as Flouride. The name stems from the gas ‘Fluorine’ and from the use of this gas in various different industries, such as Aluminum smelting and the nuclear industry, toxic by-products containing Fluorine which is the most common and is a hazard waste by-product of aluminum production. Used for a long time as rat poison and cockroach poison, it is also an ingredient of anesthetics and psychiatric drugs as well as deadly Sarin nerve gas.

As we know, flouride is used in 99.9% of proprietary toothpastes and is present in the drinking water (tap and bottled) of much of the first world. Advertised and promoted as protecting teeth, it is unfortunately much, much more sinister than that.

You may not or may not know or indeed wish to know that Fluoride was used by the Nazis in World War 2 as an intellect suppressant in their many detention camps and also as a way of making the inmates docile and compliant.

Independent scientific evidence over the past sixty plus years has shown that sodium fluoride shortens our life span, promotes various cancers and mental disturbances and most importantly, reduces intelligence and makes humans docile, unquestioning and subservient. There is also increasing evidence that aluminum in the brain is a causative factor in Alzehemier’s Disease, and evidence points towards the fact that it has the ability to ‘trick’ The blood-brain barrier by imitating the hydrogen ion thus allowing this deadly chemical access to brain tissue.”

My Grandfather worked for the city public works in the 70s and 80s – I (vaguely) recall him talking to my mom and dad about fluoride. *I wish I’d paid more attention, but I was waaay to young*. Still, I have newspaper clippings about when fluoride was first added to the towns water supply. That was where I was born, small town USA – Florida.

There seem to be so many ways they can attack us that it’s hard to track them all. Thank you for writing the article.
