“Let your love for your children conquer your fears.” – Kirk Cameron
While confused librarians and schools around the nation have invited drag queens to host their childrens’ story hours, Christian author, and actor, Kirk Cameron, has been repeatedly turned away when attempting to book those same libraries for a personal reading of his own, faith-based children’s book.
As You Grow, published by Brave Books, follows the life of a tree as it grows and shares “biblical wisdom through the seasons of life,” teaching children about goodness and kindness, and the “fruit of the spirit.” (So you can see why hordes of brainwashed parents, and men dressed as women would protest a horror-show like this!)
In an OpEd on Fox News Digital entitled, Here’s what my tour around America taught me about the weird, woke and wicked, Cameron discusses his book, as well as another book he reads on his tour which is about God’s view of gender, entitled Elephants Are Not Birds, stating:
“At the close of this sweet and funny story of a singing elephant named Kevin who was tricked by a vulture named ‘Culture’ into thinking he might be a bird, the reader then asked the 300 children, ‘Do you think elephants can be birds, even if they strap on silly wings and a beak?’” Added Cameron, “In unison, and with great laughter, all 300 children confessed with gusto, No!’”
Referring to the folks fiercely opposing — and interrupting — his readings, who apparently think libraries should serve their agenda of confusing children, Cameron added: “The small group of protesters, which included some grown men wearing silly makeup, dressed in skirts and heels, pretending to be women, listened to the reading . . . “I felt sad for the men in skirts. As it is written, ‘You have taught the little children to praise you perfectly. May their example shame and silence your enemies’” (Psalm 8:2).

I always did like him as Mike Seaver in the sitcom ‘Growing Pains’.
And although I may differ in some beliefs. In his book, ‘As you Grow’ an Amazon reviewer states: “Just peaceful animals living in harmony.”
And provided in his book, ‘Elephants Are Not Birds’ is much needed words for today’s youngsters. An Amazon reviewer states, “The message is, ‘just be you’ in the body you were born in.”
