About the Book!

Order the paperback from Barnes and Noble
Dear Visitors,
Several of my paperback editions are being blocked on Amazon for some reason, making it impossible to order them. This glitch in the Matrix doesn’t seem to affect the Kindle editions, which are available for instant download.
It’s actually much cheaper to buy my books as Kindle editions, but I know many people still enjoy holding a physical copy, like me. For this reason, I usually make the books available in both formats.
I am going to provide links below for several of my titles that seem to have been affected. People can buy the paperback editions from Barnes and Noble instead of Amazon.

Thanks for the heads up, Lisa, about the paperback ordering issue with Amazon. They’re a mystery company, for sure, and have delayed some of my titles from being released on time in the past.
I am not sure what the problem is, but I have provided a Barnes & Noble ordering link that says the paperback ships in 2 days. We’ll see how that goes. 🤣
I am glad to read that you enjoyed the short story. I was actually going to write that one as a novella, but I went in the direction of the One-Hour Diner instead.
I’ll be back soon. I’m getting some forensics done on the website to improve internal functions and make it safer for our visitors and me. I’m also enjoying the break, but I miss writing on this platform regularly and am looking forward to returning in a few weeks.
I appreciate your continued support. 👍😎

I am confused, John. I went to write a review on Amazon for the hard copy of Holograms, but it states that it’s not released and it wouldn’t allow me to write a review there.
But I did receive my hard copy that I had ordered back in March from Amazon a few days ago.
It’s just very strange. Amazon says that you can pre-order the hard copy now, but it wouldn’t be available until November 14th, 2026. Just thought I’d let you know. Although maybe you already do know.
However, you can still get it on Kindle as of today, May 2nd. And I was able to write my review there. So, it should just be a matter of time before it appears.
Additionally, BTW, great short story with The Movie Theater! 🙂👍
The message I took from it is that when your intuition tells you something is off that you need to pay close attention and act accordingly. And that it might mean to get the heck out before you get burned! 🔥
(Although I don’t have any problem with going to the theater to see a movie. As a matter of fact, I’m going today with my daughter to see the animated movie Animal Farm.)
Also, John, I found this following verse yesterday and it made me think of how it might relate to you. Because you certainly put yourself out there. And keeping one’s self-respect is important. So, pulling back once in a while can sometimes be necessary. And I realize you’re still in that mode right now, so I’ll look forward to conversing with you in a few weeks. We all just need a little space now and then!

“Familiarity isn’t always a good thing. When people know they can reach you anytime, get your attention anytime, and have your energy without earning it, they slowly start taking it for granted. It’s not always intentional, but it happens. Value drops when access is unlimited.Yeah, it sounds harsh, but giving too much of yourself without boundaries invites careless behavior. Time, attention, presence; these aren’t free commodities to hand out like it’s nothing. The moment everything becomes easily available, respect quietly fades. Pulling back isn’t ego, it’s self-respect. Create space, protect your energy, and let people feel your absence a little. Because what’s rare gets respected, and what’s always there starts to feel like nothing.”
