Intriguing share of information. Do we really know how old this U.S Navy Base or anything else is? And thanks, Kenneth, and John for sharing that the Swastika symbol has a history of prosperity, good fortune, and of well-being. I didn’t realize that, and learning this encited me to look into it a little more.
The Buddhist Swastika And Hitler’s Cross/ Rescuing a Symbol of Peace from the Forces of Hate by T.K. Nakagaki
A Univeral Symbol
“The swastika is one of the world’s oldest and most universal symbols, possibly dating back to prehistoric times. It is found in ancient ruins all over the globe. It has been used for thousands of years in Eastern religions including Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jainism. Prior to WWII, Native Americans on both the North and South America continents used the symbol extensively.
Hitler’s Symbol Is a Hakenkreuz, Not a Swastika
‘Swastika’ in English has been used since before the time of Hitler as a general term to describe the swastika symbol, while ‘Hakenkreuz’ is a specific term referring to the Nazi Germany emblem. Therefore, most English dictionaries use the common, general word ‘swastika’ to explain the Hakenkreuz, which, for example, can be found defined as ‘The Nazi Swastika,’ the Swastika used as a symbol of German antiSemitism or of Nazi Germany, and the proper German name for the ‘Nazi Swastika.’
The Hakenkreuz, because of its shape, can be seen as a type of swastika. The word ‘swastika’ refers to many various kinds of swastikas, not only Hitler’s Hakenkreuz. However, the present English dictionary does not recognize ‘swastika’ as a general term, but only Hitler’s Hakenkreuz.
Yet from Hitler’s viewpoint, the Hakenkreuz was not just a swastika, but actually one of many varieties of crosses that have existed throughout history.
Hitler’s Hakenkreuz should be explained as a kind of cross, based on Hitler’s own concept of his symbol as expressed through the name he assigned to it, the Hook-Cross. The Christian theology prevalent in Germany at the time, and an ideology of German superiority, as well as the image itself, suggests that seeing the Nazi emblem as a ‘Hook-Cross’ is a more apt understanding than continuing to think of it as the ‘swastika’ symbol of luck prevalent in the east.
From that perspective, the definitions of the Hakenkreuz listed above should be changed to ‘The Nazi cross,’ the cross used as a symbol of German anti-Semitism or Nazi Germany,’ or the proper German name for the Nazi cross.”
It would seem that the controlling powers like to turn anything depicted as positive into something negative to breed hatred any way they can!

Thanks for sharing, Lisa! 🙂
The Naval Base was constructed in 1943, during WW2. Interesting choice for a building design considering what was taking place at the time. 🤣
John
Great points, Kenneth. The Swastika has a long history and symbolizes divinity for many people. It was considered a good symbol by many until the Nazis used it.
I found it interesting that a U.S. Navy base building constructed in 1943 would have been designed in the shape of that symbol considering the official narrative and the timeline published or, in this case, maybe the timelie published.
Perhaps the building in question was much older than reported. Who knows what buildings and obelisks in Washington, DC, were built by our government? Did we make them or inherit the constructs from another civilization?
It’s quite bizarre to have such a building with that shape and construction time, in my opinion. Thanks for sharing! 👍
John
I know this much,
The original swastika was an ancient symbol of prosperity and good fortune.
The word swastika comes from the Sanskrit svastika, meaning “conducive to well-being”.
It was later that the original symbol was stolen and then used for… well… we know what.
As for what type of structures the military resides in… they also like setting up shop in a pentagon shape building too. They like their phallus looking tall pointed structures and they like to hide out underground like the morlocks they are.
Yes, you’re right, I don’t have much of anything good to say.
