   I believe that all these insane asylums were created for the reasons you and the Lunch Break video stated, Lisa, to punish and recondition people’s minds who chose to go against the official narrative being pushed at the time.

   There were also reports of orphan trains (not covered in the current video) that explained how children were transported into the country so that the citizenry could be repopulated. This program set the stage for a new civilization to form that had little or no recollection of a prior one.

   I find the subject matter of insane asylums to be quite disturbing, John. I believe that these places were created just to torture people.

   And I find the comment in the video about how that maybe they had created these places in order to shut up people who knew too much about our real world to be a very valid point.

   Back then they hadn’t started poisoning people’s minds yet so extensively with pharmaceutical drugs. Which I am sure is the cause and reason for so much mental illness today. Although it still may have been a part of the reason why some people had mental issues back then, too. Because it was the beginning of that era.

   But, yes, what was up with the sudden so called rise of mental illness in the 1800s? It would seem that people could be locked up and tortured just for expressing their beliefs.

   Although witchhunts were not anything new. But the controlling powers were now starting to use their barbaric methods of torture under the guise of health instead of religion.

   And I read something that absolutely horrified me the other day about what they had done to woman who were just out picking herbs. And it is so horrible that I cannot even repeat it. All I will say is that women were put on to sharp stakes in a very mutilating manner.

   But in these asylums they eradicated your mind entirely with lobotomies and electric shock treatments. That would have been the perfect solution to making people forget what they had known to be the truth. Or if they did still remember, having these procedures done were the perfect reason as to why no one would ever believe them.

   This is so interesting!!

   We lived in Vancouver BC, Canada for 12+ years and we’re surprised at the number of OLD, creepy hospitals, many formerly mental institutions. We had to wonder why. Other interesting things include mass graves of Indian children outside Catholic churches where “first nation” children were forced to attend English speaking schools as the story goes. Also, Canada was a major supplier of Agent Orange, so in cahoots with Washington going back quite far.

   No doubt there’s more on Canada AND what you’ve uncovered here!
