In the state of Washington, children under the age of 18 are not allowed to get tattoos without parental consent. Anyone caught tattooing a minor faces a misdemeanor charge and up to 90 days in jail.
The people who made that law still had some sense. They understood a minor’s brain isn’t fully developed yet and, therefore, a choice as permanent as a tattoo should be considered, and acted upon, only when the minor is old enough (or at least 18) to understand the permanence of such an act. These same lawmakers [rightfully] have also prevented children from purchasing cold medicine or alcohol.
However, the folks making laws in Washington today have clearly lost their minds. With last week’s passage of Senate Bill 5599, confused and brainwashed minors seeking to change their sex can do so, without parental consent — and the state will even foot the bill.
Any minor who decides to have this surgery can go to any of that state’s licensed shelters, where they will be welcomed, legally hidden from their parents, and assisted in obtaining this life-altering surgery (even if the child is not a Washington resident).
So, Washington bans tattoos for minors, bans them from buying cold medicine or alcohol, yet is willing to not only hide them from their parents but also assist them in permanently altering their bodies, lives, and futures.
Reporting on this horror, Greg Reese has produced an excellent four-and-a-half minute video. In that video, he also alerts us to the UN’s judges recent publishing of “The 8 March Principles for a Human Rights-Based Approach to Criminal Law Proscribing Conduct Associated with Sex, Reproduction, Drug Use, HIV, Homelessness and Poverty” whereby they desire to make sex with a minor legal, stating “the enforcement of criminal law should reflect the rights and capacity of persons under 18 years of age to make decisions about engaging in consensual sexual conduct” and that “consent to sex may be consensual in fact, if not in law.”

Also, if you are a Washington resident, and are against legalized kidnapping and child abuse, reach out to your legislators here:

The government is attempting to push parents out of their children’s lives. The controlling powers believe that they have a right to make decisions for our families. And they are trying to justify their abusive power by claiming it is the children’s right.
That is ludicrous! Children need to go through life experiences before they are mature enough to make life altering decisions. And who is more loving and caring about guiding them than their own parents!
Lisa
The Center for Parenting Education:
“Maturity is something that children acquire over time as they learn skills and develop the capacity to deal with complexities of life.”
“The American Psychological Association defines emotional maturity as ‘a high and appropriate level of emotional control and expression.’ Emotional immaturity, on the other hand, is ‘a tendency to express emotions without restraint or disproportionately to the situation.”
Thanks for sharing, Lisa! 🙂

I wholeheartedly agree, Lisa!
