I agree with you! The official narrative makes us believe that this and a plethora of other amazing buildings were constructed worldwide without modern technology.
How did they transport millions of bricks and other supplies with horses and buggies? Remember, there were no cranes and modern power tools available either.
The more I dig into Old World Exploration, the more ridiculous the official narratives attached to the construction details of the structures become in my mind.

There are fabulous structures like this all over the world, and yet we never see anything like this being built again. Why is that?

I think Wikipedia is full of it, John! I believe that an ancient civilization with extraordinary knowledge along with their energy tools built these palaces. Not a bunch of ordinary men and their horse and carriages.
