On December 3, 2025, Bill H.R. 2289 passed the House Committee on Energy and Commerce with 26 yeas and 24 nays and is being sent to the full chamber for a formal vote.
H.R. 2289, if passed, would give the federal government (and its many contractors who have stakes in the communications industry) total control over the placement of cell towers throughout America, stripping that right from states and local governments.

If you are unfamiliar with the very serious dangers of cell towers, I highly suggest watching any of the excellent Barrie Trower videos online. Trower is a British physicist and military microwave weapons expert who, years ago, came out of retirement to warn anyone and everyone about the dangers of wi-fi and cell towers, particularly to children.
