Having watched the entire 13-month investigation by Candace, I believe this is the first time she has ever mentioned the Utah Fusion Center (called SIAC in Utah).
NoFakeNews readers are familiar with the known corruption, criminality, and cover-ups associated with fusion centers and, in that vein, I’d like to direct you to page 42 of the report, which states:
Chief Long also contacted SIAC by e-mail at approximately 7:30 a.m. on September 10 to share an anonymous tip UVU received regarding a potential threat involving an electronic-magnetic-pulse device that a suspect might use at the event. Chief Long was seeking to determine whether any threat-related intelligence update was available regarding the tip.
Long was advised e-mail was the best method to request information from the Utah SIAC. SIAC responded shortly thereafter to Chief Long that it was not a credible threat, as it appeared the tipster had provided similar information in the past that was determined to be unreliable.
I ask you: How was the fusion center able to determine that “the tipster’s threat was not a credible threat as it appeared the tipster had provided similar information in the past and was determined to be unreliable” if the tipster, according to UVU Police Chief Jeff Long (who resigned yesterday, by the way), was anonymous?
