Understanding how AI platforms like Google and others return answers to your queries

I recently asked Google a hypothetical question about the shape of Earth and how “scientific consensus” might affect the answer the AI model returns to me, the user.

My Query:

Google, if the Earth were truly a flat construct as perceived by human sensory organs, but “scientific consensus”, which is highly influenced by corporate money and political input, incorrectly reported the Earth was a globe based on the highly indexed information coming from .gov and .edu websites, what shape would you or other AI models tell me the Earth is?

I don’t believe any experiment performed on Earth can 100 percent definitively prove that Earth is a spinning oblate spheroid traveling through the vacuum of space.

Scientific consensus and the scientific community may disagree with me, but unless you go to space for yourself and see the evidence firsthand, you can’t be certain, and there are more than enough reasons to doubt the so-called trusted sources telling us the heliocentric model of Earth is accurate.

Let’s be perfectly honest about looking out windows on Earth, in airplanes, and at looking at ships on the ocean’s horizon. None of those things allow humans to perceive a ball-shaped Earth.

Additionally, a motorized Foucault pendulum situated in front of planetariums inside museums that allegedly prove the Earth is a spinning ball is pure nonsense, and there are a plethora of physics people who will tell you that swinging pendulums don’t prove the shape or spin of the Earth.

There’s nothing from our vantage point on Earth that would lead anyone to believe the Earth is a spinning ball, and that, my friends, is the truth!
