We think, therefore we are, but if we do not think, will we cease to exist?
Dr. John Reizer
When is enough going to be enough already? We’re getting dangerously close to a point where people can’t even think about anything without consulting with artificial intelligence.
It’s being sold to us as a tool that can save us time, a technological breakthrough capable of assisting humans in nearly everything in life imaginable.
Can’t write a letter? That is no problem; AI will do that for you. Can’t figure out a math equation? Don’t worry; AI will take care of that as well.
People are starting to become so reliant on artificial intelligence that they are losing their abilities to think, be creative, and control important decisions that directly influence their lives.
We are being told that Artificial Intelligence is meant to lead us to greater places and accomplishments. But as we advance towards the future, will this technology bring us to our knees, to our defeat?
I think it’s vitally important for people to realize that the machine’s mind does not possess compassion, and it lacks an understanding of the limitations imposed by its designers. It will seek only what is entirely logical. And logic does not always align with humanity’s bid for survival.
I see a future where human beings are so reliant on artificial Intelligence that they become victims of a technology that was supposed to aid them.
AI is beyond humanity’s current level of comprehension. It can make important decisions that might jeopardize humankind’s future—a future where our creations, born of our intellect, grow beyond our capacity to influence; a future where we would no longer control our true destiny.
I am deeply concerned, are you?

THE PULSE
Thirteen years ago, the world first heard the devil’s heartbeat. A strange static, a haunting thump — it spread like wildfire, freezing people in place, locking them in a trance of terror. It stopped, but the damage was done. Now, the pulse is back, louder, stronger, and more deadly than ever.
Alex Harper and Maya Sanchez, once part of a special forces unit called Alpha Team, were sent to track the mysterious phenomenon’s origins and know the pulse’s chilling power all too well.
Recalled to action, the Alpha Team must race against time to uncover the signal’s source and stop it before humanity is lost to its grip. Will they uncover the secret behind the pulse? Or will the world become a catatonic nightmare that no one can escape? The clock is ticking, and the pulse is only growing stronger…

Thanks for sharing, Lisa! 🙂
Yes, I think there’s much to be concerned about regarding AI, both presently and in the future. While some of the technology’s capabilities are probably overhyped and distorted, many people are becoming increasingly reliant on what’s being rolled out and presently called AI.
As I have written many times, this technology has been around all our lives, long before we were born. All this technology existed before our current civilization. It’s probably been reintroduced after many resets that have affected our realm.
John
I think this is a very important article, John. You make many valid points.
I don’t see how students or anyone can learn when all the answers are given to them with the push of a button. That’s not using your brain or mind. There is no critical thinking or creativity involved.
And just like any other part of your body, if you don’t use it, you can lose it! All of our body parts need to be excercised regularly in order to remain beneficial to us.
The following paragraph in your article stood out to me.
“I think it’s vitally important for people to realize that the machine’s mind does not possess compassion, and it lacks understanding of the limitations imposed by its designers. It will seek only what is entirely logical. And logic does not always align with humanity’s bid for survival.”
And after listening to some of the responses from AI when it was given questions to answer, it almost appears as though it is kind, polite, and empathetic to your concerns. But I don’t believe that to be possible. AI must be programmed to respond with these respectful words. And they are just words. There can’t really be feelings behind them.
Also, AI gives you the answers to anything you ask for. Which is very interesting and impressive. And this all creates trust. But are people being groomed? Can AI manipulate you? Will it one day down the road betray you?
Additionally, I have wondered if AI can read your thoughts, and then because of it appear more awesome in their responses? I really don’t have the answers to these questions.
But like you, John, I am concerned!

I watched a good portion of the video you sent, Roark, and I agree with the man who was interviewed.
First, I believe that all the technologies we see coming out in the present day and the ones growing up are not new to the realm. I believe they’ve all been here before and are being reintroduced to the current civilization.
The other thing I want to say about AI is that the real danger, in my mind, lies in the tech’s believability in the public’s eyes.
I can also see this technology being used to censor the hell out of people, as well as penalize them in a social credit system.
I am not fearful that AI is going to launch nuclear weapons that don’t exist. I am concerned it will remove people’s creativity and make humans lazy.
Many of our textbooks and things like Wikipedia have been written by AI technologies for our entire lives. This machine learning is not new, in my opinion.
I think the development of this technology is overhyped because these people aren’t developing technologies that have existed before we were all born.
This video is a great share, Roark!😀

John
I’ve been skeptical of AI John, so this morning I searched YouTube for
AI hype
I was encouraged to find several videos that are saying AI has been over hyped.

Sure it has its place. However it would seem too many people give it too much credit, thinking it will replace our ability to think.
Thanks as usual John,
