If you are a Netflix subscriber, watch Pain Hustlers. It is an excellent portrayal of Big Pharma’s mindset in our modern society.

Pain Hustlers’ IMDb score is currently 6.5/10, but that’s because any movie production showing big pharma in a negative light is the immediate recipient of a rating/review bombing campaign to lower the film’s appeal to the general public.

I can assure people through first-hand experience (The Target List movie) that any story that presents big pharma negatively will become marginalized and made to look less attractive to moviegoers. In English, that means many low, phony ratings on the IMDb platform and others.

Critical Reviews
“Rachel Alig is terrific as Donna while Justin Ray as Clyde also manages to impress. Combining witty commentary with a constant threat to life, script writers Palo and Reizer develop a narrative that is funny and charming while ensuring that none of the thrill and danger is lost in the process.”
– INDIE WRAP MAGAZINE
“Drama, thrills, comedy and so much more: Directors Andrew Arguello and MJ Palo’s Target List has all the fixings of a great movie. Combining a fantastic cast with the witty writing of MJ Palo and John Reizer, whichever way you flip this film, it lands on its feet with feline agility.”
– INDY REVIEWS
“The script by Palo with John Reizer, for the most part, rides that perfect balance between its more dramatic moments and perfectly placed moments of humor that never distract. While they’re probably not going to get invited to any big pharma conventions anytime soon, Reizer and Palo have a point, and they make it beautifully.”
“Target List is a great view for anyone who wants a compelling and suspenseful flick with a message that matters.”

“Target List had me on the edge of my seat throughout. Not the least because of its believability!“

Target List

From Mad Wife Productions
Our film addresses a well-known conspiracy theory within modern medicine that subscribes to the idea that the pharmaceutical industry is willing to hold back and even destroy healthcare inventions and discoveries that might help humanity have a better expression of health for the pursuit of monetary gain.

For sure, John!👍😀
Lisa
Well, Lisa, our film is a special one, for sure, and it packs one helluva underlying message. I know that we are probably biased in our opinions of TL, but I have to agree, it’s pretty damn good. 😀
John
Although I didn’t watch “Pain Hustlers” in its entirety, John, I did see enough of it to say that the movie exposes what sleazy maneuvers the pharmaceutical companies will go through in order to push their drugs to the medical system. So, the film is great in that respect.
However, in my opinion, it doesn’t compare to the “Target List” movie. That is rolling ride of entertainment from beginning to end with an undeniable important message strung in between the lines.
Lisa
Yes, I am familiar with that book and how the benefits of Laetrile were covered up by big medicine and big pharma. You are correct in saying it’s all a sham because that’s precisely what it is!
Thanks for your input, Roark! 🙂👍
John
That is such a shame, john, but the ratings on IMDb would be rigged like that against a movie that calls out big pharma.
remember Margaret meads’ “Never underestimate what a small group can do to change the world”, I’m paraphrasing.
Or, there’s always George W Bush’s, “Don’t misunderestimate me!!”
I’m reading “World Without Cancer, the story of vitamin bB17” by G. Edward Griffin. It’s a fantastic book that is very similar to the story of Target list, in that Laetrile was discovered to be an effective treatment yet was demonized by the American Cancer Association which, surprise, surprise, is manipulated by The Rockefellers, much like the rest of the American Medical Association.
What a sham! What a shame! Both!
