Hi everyone! I have modified the website’s appearance slightly in the past few days, and I wanted to explain why I did so.
I have been battling censorship tactics on the platform for a long time. Our website is shadow-banned regularly. This means that although visitors can find the website and everything appears normal, it is not.
Within the parameters of search engine indexing, the powers that be can prevent a significant amount of potential web traffic from making it onto a particular site.
On the advice of someone who has helped me in the past when dealing with web-related technology challenges, I have changed the landing page or front door of the website to ‘About NoFakeNews.’
My hope in doing this is that the new landing page might make the website less visible to the shadow-banning techniques I have been dealing with.
When readers enter the website in the new format, they will encounter a general overview of what NoFakeNews is and is not about. There are hyperlinks between each paragraph of the introductory description that will take visitors to the most recent monthly posts.
For those visiting who want to access prior months’ articles, they will need to select the month and year desired from the drop-down menu titled ‘Archives.’
I hope this change will not be too confusing for our visitors. I will review how the site performs in the future before deciding if this new presentation will be temporary or not.

I am unsure how long the old format will remain on a mobile phone. It might switch over as well on that viewing device at some point.
NofakeNews displays differently on desktops, tablets, and phones for some reason.
I am still experimenting with the site and may or may not switch things out again.
I know the platform here is censored broadly, but I am unsure if I can resolve the issues moving forward.
This shadow-banning thing is a game, like everything else in the simulation. My content is not supportive of the official narratives in play, so that is why the search engines suppress our platform. But it’s all good. It is what it is, and I will not get too worried about everything. I will reach the people I can and keep moving forward.

I hope this new front door will help with the issues of shadow banning that the website is having, John. AIso, I think that having the landing page might possibly help to entice and draw people in to look at Nofakenews as well.
I had noticed the landing page last night on my tablets, and I have to admit that I was a bit confused. But I don’t usually post on those. Some issues with that.
And today I also noticed the new landing page on my computer. I do occasionally post on that.
However, it’s still the old way on my cell phone. And that is where I do the majority of my checking out the site, and posting. So, it won’t be much of a change for me. (I have no idea why the landing page doesn’t show on my cell. It’s a Tracfone.) But that’s why I had been confused. What was showing was not the same on my different devices.
But this new front door seems plenty easy enough to use. If peope will just bother to read and click the prompts! 🙂
