Since its release in 2023, people have written to me asking about the underlying message of Target List.
Target List contains several important underlying messages. The main one centers on a critical examination of the medical establishment, particularly big pharmaceutical companies, and their potential to prioritize profit over patient well-being.
Target List suggests the pharma industry may prioritize financial gain by suppressing genuine cures or delaying widespread access to safe, effective treatments. The movie also raises the question of whether modern healthcare truly aims to cure diseases or to manage them for long-term profit.
Ultimately, Target List serves as a wake-up call for members of society, prompting them to question the true intentions of Big Medicine and Big Pharma, which may be far more complex and potentially disturbing than the public commonly perceives.
As the author of The Target List Novel and the co-screenwriter of the movie, I ask readers and moviegoers alike to share the story widely so we can begin to understand a major problem and, in my opinion, a major hurdle to humanity’s health and well-being: Big Pharma!
The first step in solving a problem is recognizing it. That was my reason for writing the story in the first place!
