Dr. Rogers:

Could you please place the pottery piece over there, next to the big rock? The one with the long crack on its side.

Dr. James:

This one, are you sure? The crack looks too suspicious, in my opinion. Someone might believe that it’s not organic enough, do you know what I mean?

Dr. Rogers:

That’s exactly the point, Jim! We want visitors to say, “Yes, look at this one, it’s a classic mid to later Iron Age find,” and move on without squinting overly hard.

Dr. James:

Right, right. I see what you’re going for. But what about the heavy soot marks? Don’t you believe that’s a little overdoing it? You said you wanted them to look “authentic but not too over the top.”

Dr. Rogers:

Exactly. If it looks too pristine, people start asking too many damn questions. If it looks like it survived several millennia, it’ll be fine for all intents and purposes.

Dr. James:

I guess the answer we’re searching for here is some sort of balance, right?

Dr. Rogers:

Precisely! Now, place this one here next to the other prop I laid down over there earlier. And remember to make it appear slightly off-center. Genuine finds are never perfectly centered.

Dr. James:

There. I think that looks pretty natural, don’t you? Real enough to impress the committee members, but more importantly, fake enough to avoid rewriting the entire timeline again.

Dr. Rogers:

I definitely like the setup here; it all aligns very well with the latest scholarly consensus. Remember, If the story fits the narrative, the narrative must fit the site find.

Dr. James:

So, do we need to do anything else here, or are we finished?

Dr. Rogers:

No, I believe it looks very natural in its presentation! The less we fudge, the better. Remember, no one is going to question the science. In the end, the public’s belief in our historical narratives depends on how correctly and accurately we stage everything!

If you want to learn what’s truly happening in this place we call Earth, you need to start by turning off your TV and canceling every subscription to mainstream media platforms you have. Until you do that, you will never get a truthful picture of anything happening here.

The controlling powers have stolen our history and replaced it with a false historical narrative that makes little to no sense whatsoever. The saddest part is that virtually nobody knows what’s happening in our realm today because society’s members have no reliable reference point, historically speaking, to gauge their truthful place in our 3-D holographic construct.
