Thank you very much for your kind words and condolences, John!
And, yes, I also believe that all souls, including animals, have a mission.

So sorry to hear that sad news, Lisa. My condolences for your loss. I know that feeling all too well and have experienced it many times, particularly with the loss of various animal friends throughout my lifetime.
The feelings of loss get better with time, but never leave completely, in my experience. But those souls that come here as animals, I believe, have missions, too.
We’re fortunate to experience their friendship briefly, and we learn the lessons our souls need through those friendships.
Hang in there and take comfort in knowing that all life continues indefinitely in other forms.
John

Yes, it’s haunting as to where these weight loss shots will lead, John.
And also seeing these bones in the photo reminds me of the occurrence at our home this past week.
Because, gee, did someone slip one to my dog? She had been a little overweight for some time. But then my 12 year old cockapoo (cockerspaniel/poodle) suddenly began losing weight over the summer. And just a few days ago she stopped eating all together, and was throwing up. Then two days ago she stopped drinking water as well.
She died this past Wednesday night. It was so sudden we can hardly believe it! And we also lost our other dog (Keeshond) earlier in the summer because he was very ill. But he had suffered from seizures for many years.
And his passing has made me wonder if our other dog mourned her buddy so much that she became ill herself.
it just doesn’t make sense to me. But it also makes me wonder about our dog groomer. She seems to have lost a lot of weight herself lately. And my cockapoo saw her earlier in the summer, and then again just last week.
Rest in Peace my sweet baby girl Mulan alongside your buddy Shadow. 😢
