It appears that the builders of that wall were protecting against something pretty terrifying. It’s hard to imagine the threat, but erecting a large structure like the wall is evidence of the danger to the population at the time.

The twist of the Great Wall of China keeping something within boundaries instead of preventing something from entering is puzzling, John.
Maybe all those healing bells and organs were for more than just soothing the Tartarian people. Maybe there was something else that needed to be tamed. And to be kept corralled in. Could there have been something even more sinister and frightening hidden underneath in those tunnels? Something that could project what they wanted you to see. Something abominable that could devour your body and soul.
Maybe the wall, tunnels, and the energetic structures provided different manners of protection.
And the Tartarians did their best to keep the situation under control. Until they couldn’t!
