You are not mistaken if you have noticed that many of the articles on NoFakeNews are missing images and other content.
After performing some maintenance on the site, I have discovered that hundreds of the platform’s files are missing or have been deleted.
I have no idea where these files went
This is more than frustrating for me, and restoring things will take many hours of work. At this point, I am unsure about how to proceed here in the future. Is it worth my time and effort to repair what has been altered? Will more files disappear? It’s all very strange, in my opinion.
I wanted to alert visitors and give everybody a heads-up so that when people see these incomplete articles, they will understand the situation more clearly.
According to my understanding of the WordPress publishing platform, the site owner can only delete files. That person, in this case, would be me.
I did not perform any edits or deletions, so the missing files remain a mystery; I will leave it at that!
I will not make any snap or drastic decisions regarding the future of this website. As with everything affecting my life and writing career, I will discuss all possible options with my family and decide what to do next. Whatever that decision is, I will be at peace with it and know that I have tried to do my best to run NoFakeNews through the years it’s been up and running.

I will miss this page IF it goes away, unlike tiktok which I’ve never used Or facebook which it has been 9+ years since I last logged on.
There are a number of blogs I follow on WP and many of them appear dormant. NFN is (more or less) keeping me on WP.
I really don’t blog a lot (mostly repostings from other pages), but it’d be a sad time if it all goes away… suddenly or otherwise.

WordPress might say that the owner is the only one that can delete files… I find that untrue – and then here we are with your issue.
It’s a shame, a crying shame, that this is happening.
This appears to be a significant data loss from the platform, Ashley. I know that several hundred articles have been affected. It will take a while to diagnose what’s missing and how to reinsert everything back into its original position.
I am so mad that I can’t even process it all. I must step away for a day and figure out what to do.

Also, because I have a team standing by at all times, I absolutely KNEW the picture we discussed would be gone from my article, https://nofakenews.net/2022/11/19/donald-j-trump-and-the-goodbye-america-tour-credit-cards-accepted/.
This was the picture of some of the Get Motivated event speakers that included Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, Donald Trump, Benjamin Netanyahu, Bill Clinton, Steve Forbes, Suze Orman, Goldie Hawn, Michael J. Fox, and possibly a few others.
Perhaps you will come across it in the middle of all of your going through everything.
Either way, per my earlier note, I am so sorry that happened, and hope you find a way to replace what the losers took.

That’s awful, John! Hundreds of files missing! And although the censorship has always been bad, they must be working overtime on trying to keep the truth hidden now.
However, I haven’t noticed anything amiss on my end at NofakeNews. But then again, I haven’t been back in any older material.
Thanks for the heads up on the mayhem though. Because now we will know to think twice, if what we are seeing doesn’t appear quite right.
It must be very aggravating for you to see so much of what you’ve worked for disappear before your eyes. And now to be attempting to rectify the situation for everyone.
