Having dealt with a ratings bombing experience on the same platform with an independent movie, albeit on a much smaller scale, I had to see for myself if Snow White was as bad as the scoring suggests or if Rachel Zegler’s pro-Palestinian public comments and other political issues helped generate such distaste for the movie.

I am rating and scoring Snow White based solely on how I felt the production delivered as a feature film and not by the political comments made by its cast and crew members.

Much Better than Expected!

Regarding movie ratings, do yourself a favor and don’t be influenced by the scores on the IMDb platform or others.

People are often mysteriously influenced by social media and other trend-setting forces. I honestly went to see Snow White because the ratings were so poor. We’re talking about a rating of 1.5 or lower, meaning a film is nearly unwatchable.

I thought the movie was well done, and everything about the production was uplifting and magical.

In my opinion, the acting performances by the entire cast were strong. The CGI was excellent, and the music and the singing were top-notch.

Please don’t rely on the ratings and reviews of others when it comes to movies because many of these scores are rigged. I feel as if this is the case with Snow White.

Let me finish my review by making one final observation. Disney is one of the biggest entertainment corporations in the realm, and it’s well-connected to the marketing world and public influencers that have great control over how movies are scored. When I see 298,000 reviews with an average score of 1.5 on a Disney film, I know the ratings delivered were not organic. In my opinion, something else is going on in this situation that has nothing to do with this motion picture’s quality or lack thereof.
