This story has a purpose — everything they do has one! This stuck-in-space narrative serves three essential goals: to keep interesting space content in the public eye, to illustrate to the American people how cost-effective and more efficient Elon Musk’s private space company is compared to NASA, and that humans can survive for prolonged periods in space so they can spread more lies about trillions of taxpayers dollars being used to help Elon fund a never going to happen mission to Mars on the 33rd day in the month of make-believe. It’s all bullshit, in my opinion.
