I appreciate your feedback on this post, Lisa.
My father was a veteran, and my wife’s father was one. I like where I live and wouldn’t want to live in another country either. But I believe that forcing young children to stand at attention every morning and salute a flag is nothing more than forced obedience.
My wife and I love one another very much, but don’t stand at attention every morning and repeatedly state our wedding vows. 😂
These repetitive exercises, performed ritualistically in other countries as well, are designed to make people feel loyal to an idea or cause that benefits our controllers. It makes people more likely to fight in wars for psychopaths who are trying to confuse the public about the difference between the love of one’s country and the obligatory feeling of participating in various military conflicts they otherwise would have no interest in being affiliated with.

Children are taught obedience to the State and to God from an early age. Through the continuous reciting of the Pledge of the Allegiance to the flag in the school system.
Such a simple act of brainwashing. But quite effective, because many people are devoted to this country and its government. And being patriotic is seen as being loyal and true.
However, it’s for a government that wants to own us, even if they say we are free. The whole world wants to own us!
And I must admit, John, it’s hard not to want to be patriotic myself. My dad was a soldier in the Korean War where he lost a leg and an eye. His purpose in life besides his family was to uphold the American flag and his country. He was a veteran and he always put up the American flag. He sacficed himself for it. As so many others have. But what really for? So much of it all feels like a charade now.
These wars all seem more of an agenda to depopulate and put fear into the people. In order to feed the Matrix!
I had always believed we were the land of the free, but now it’s starting to feel like an illusion.

But yet I still feel better living in the USA.
