Well, I don’t think that I’ll ever see these stupendous world wonders in the Big Apple of New York City, John. But Milwaukee, Wisconsin has a few of their own. I got a tour with a friend on Saturday, and I was awe strucken! So many magnificent Old World buildings we drove by. It made Tartaria feel real to me. We also got out and walked around in an area I had spent time in my youth. It was a place I had worked at. And it previously had businesses in it, but now it is a hotel and restaurant. We went in. But there was no sign of any of the offices as I remembered it. It is now a restaurant.
Although the majestic looking staircase was still there, and we went up to view the fabulous glass ceiling.
Also, across the street were two other spectacular looking structures. One of them had very detailed art built into the stone all over it. And the two griffins at the entrance were fantastical!
Additionally, we saw the incredible clock tower. Plus, some buildings with giant columns across the front of them. And surprisingly one of them had a big “Planet Fitness” sign on top of it. I thought it to be rather majestic looking for a fitness health center. 😂
It was a super day, John! 😀
I was very much in awe of everything I was seeing. But also I felt rather puzzled with myself remembering that not much of this meant much to me 30 years ago. I told my friend that I should have been kicked in the head to wake me up! 🤣 It was as though my mind was in a fog. These extraordinary structures even almost spooked me back then!
Although what a l change of perspective I have now. Because I felt like I was going home. It felt absolutely fabulous! 😃

I feel the same way anywhere I visit these days. Old-world buildings are everywhere and can be easily identified if you know what to look for.
