Walking on the Southern Rim of the Grand Canyon

The Southern Rim of the Grand Canyon

I took this photo and the video below on Sunday, February 2nd, 2025, while walking on the Southern Rim of the Grand Canyon in Arizona. For those of you who have traveled here and experienced this fantastic location, you already know that photos and videos don’t do this place justice. Nonetheless, I wanted to share this short clip with our visitors.

    Hi John,

I’m not sure if the submission link is working, but wanted to tell you to ignore my article I sent yesterday, as it needs revising and was sent prematurely.

    Hope you’re having a grand time! 🙂

I have never been to Devil’s Tower in Wyoming or the Badlands of South Dakota, Lisa, but I Imagine they are also breathtaking locations to see. Devil’s Tower looks a hell of a lot like a giant tree stump. 😀

Fantastic scenery, John! But as you say, film just doesn’t bring out the real magnificence of it all.

And I’ve never been there, but we did see some fabulous sights in the Badlands National Park of South Dakota about 25 years ago. Also, the Devil’s Tower in Wyoming.

There’s nothing like viewing and getting a feeling of nature’s wonders of the world! 🙂

I can only hope that Kenneth’s comment about the power of words when they are repeated over and over again will bring about another amazing trip for us in the future!

It’s truly amazing to see the Grand Canyon in person. My wife and I have always had the location on the “our places to visit” list, so we decided not too long ago to plan this trip. The Grand Canyon fits nicely into our ongoing Old-World Research efforts, Kenneth.

It’s hard for me to believe that many geological formations within our realm formed the way officialdom describes them. I question the timelines offered for the creation of these structures.

Regardless, it’s a beautiful place to visit, and I highly recommend doing so if and when you can. 🙂

Imagine the power of a few words – told over and over and over and over.

btw great imagery! I’ve never been, so I am always amazed by viewing these types of sights.
