You’re correct in your understanding of the situation. MDs, for the most part, are legalized drug peddlers.
Outside of emergency services, I never use medical services.

It sickens me, John, how the only thing the medical system seems to know how to do is peddle drugs to people of all ages. They are not doctors they are drug pushers!
And the majority of the time these drugs only make a situation worse. I know that is the case when I had tried medications with my son who has autism. (Childhood vaccine-injured) I had tried a few when he was younger, and it was a disaster! They made him aggressive and out of control.
