People in each American state vote for one President and Vice President on the ballot.
When people cast their vote, they are voting for a group of people called electors. When a candidate receives the majority of the votes from the people of a state, he or she will be awarded all electoral votes of that state.
The presidential candidate with the most electoral votes becomes the new President of the United States.
In 2024, the first candidate to receive 270 electoral votes becomes the President-elect. Then in January 2025, the President-elect is inaugurated and sworn in for a four-year term as POTUS.

But 270 is needed to win and as a Dem said, absentee ballots need counting and are mostly from Dems.
It is my belief that Trump is the best choice for the country. I am also skeptical Harris would do this well based on her low turnouts at public gatherings.
