Target-listed is a term that refers to someone in healthcare or another service industry who is placed in the crosshairs of a hired assassin or assassins under the employ of a powerful entity or entities to suppress the release of new technology or proprietary information that might be financially harmful to already established corporations that have profited from the systematic management of various intellectual properties.

The term was first coined with this particular definition in 2019 by author John Reizer and his novel The Target List and once again in 2023 in conjunction with the feature film Target List written and produced by MJ Palo, John Reizer, and Andrew Arguello and released for distribution by Mad Wife Productions.
